Training Package on Workplace Risk Assessment and Management for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

This is a training package aimed at owners and managers of small to medium-sized enterprises to help them improve risk assessment and management of safety and health in the workplace. The document provides step by step guidance and should prove useful to workers and their representatives, employers’ organizations and trade unions who may use the materials in training for their members. The training package consists of three modules. The main module is a self-help tool which covers the five steps of carrying out a risk assessment. A second module outlines a trainers’toolkit with activity sheets to guide participants through the risk assessment process. The third module gives examples of risk assessments for selected occupational sectors including construction.
